Follow the conductor

What the sync controls on a stand do, in the order you meet them.

Sync source

  • None (Internal Clock): the device keeps its own time. Use it to practice.
  • Link to DAW: follow a conductor's CueConductor or a DAW's Link plug-in. This is the stand setting.
  • MTC: follow MIDI Time Code from QLab or a DAW without the plug-in.

Follow Master

Any Master accepts whichever podium or plug-in connects, which is fine with one on the network. With two rehearsal rooms on the same Wi-Fi, or a podium and a DAW, pick yours; the others are refused. Masters appear in the list once they have tried to connect.

Follow Master's Cue

When the master announces which cue is current, open it. A change never interrupts playback; it applies when the transport stops. Off, a banner shows the announced cue and nothing opens by itself.

Accept Pushed Cues

Receive the cue the master opens, in the background: MIDI map, overlay, score and parts and a mono click. No stems, no video. It arrives under the master's name; a full package you already have is never replaced. Pushed copies show a Pushed badge in the Library.

Mute Audio During External Sync

Checked, the stand is silent while locked and the master supplies the audio. Unchecked, FOH and click stay live under your own mixer settings while you follow.

Auto Latency

The stand measures its own landing error after every chase and folds it into sync. A fresh device calibrates itself within a few locates and remembers. The Manual Latency offsets below it become fine trim on top: late by N frames, increase; early, decrease.

Leaving

Closing the cue disengages sync on this device. The source choice stays for next time.
