If something is wrong

Sound

An output is silent. : Open Audio I/O and check the pair each strip points at. Press Play once, then Copy the log and send it with your report. Audio I/O

The click is late in Bluetooth earbuds. : Move the Earbuds trim in Sync Settings while a cue plays, or calibrate with the microphone. Earbuds on a stand

Sound keeps playing after Stop, or doubles. : Both mixes landing on one pair double. Flip a strip to External and move its pair. Update to 2.9.0 or later, which fixed stray audio after a cue switch on the Mac.

Sync

A stand says waiting to connect. : Same network, and the master must be conducting or have the plug-in inserted on the main output. Guest and corporate Wi-Fi often block device-to-device traffic; a hotspot, a travel router or a USB cable solves it. Conduct the room

The cue starts at the wrong bar when locked to the DAW. : The session, the MIDI file and the stems must share one start timecode and one frame rate. Update the Link plug-ins to version 9 or later. Sync the podium to your DAW

The stand follows, but a fixed amount late. : Give Auto Latency a few locates. Then trim under Manual Latency: late, increase; early, decrease. Sync settings

The stand opens the wrong cue. : Follow Master's Cue switches when the transport stops. Stop, and it switches.

Plug-ins

The DAW says Apple could not verify the plug-in. : Install from the app, not by copying. Install the Link plug-ins

Logic shows the plug-in but it never connects. : Insert it on the Stereo Output. Logic idles plug-ins on empty tracks.

Digital Performer does not see it. : Quit and relaunch DP; it examines plug-ins at launch.

Picture

External Display Not Available. : The device mirrors only. A separate audience picture needs an M-series iPad or a Mac. Picture on a projector

Picture and orchestra drift apart in the hall. : Adjust House Latency while a cue plays.

Programs

A cue shows not in library. : Download it. Programs match cues by title as well as by id.

The next cue did not open. : Choose Refresh Cue Timings in the program's menu after rebuilding a cue. Film in concert
